RSS – you'd think it had gone the way of Google Reader

Just trying to subscribe to the interesting blogs on #octel. Why is it so difficult to get an RSS feed from Wordpress or Blogger? It’s hard just to find the link..Is RSS going the way of the Google Reader, or is there time left yet?
