With one or more fellow participants, organise a period of reflection and discussion over two or three days and see if you can arrive at a shared view of
- What can we tell about the range of experiences and preferences among ocTEL participants?
- What challenges does this present for the course?
- In what ways is a MOOC well or poorly suited to these challenges?
To do this organising, look through the topics in this forum (Small group reflection) to see which groups are emerging. Ask to join one if you like. Or, if you prefer, start a new small group by Creating a New Topic in this forum, and introducing yourself or describing the kind of discussion you’d like to have. (This may get a little messy; that’s OK, it’s part of the experience of online learning.)
When you have settled on your group membership, you can carry on the discussion within the topic, or you can agree to discuss it any other place on the net where all group members can participate.
