What was my one big question that I had hoped ocTEL could answer ten weeks ago? Perhaps not so much a singular question as a goal: to network and share experiences with other TEL professionals. This goal was definitely met, and my experience with ocTEL has been above and beyond my expectations. I was also introduced to new resources and applications for OER, of assessment and evaluation schemes, heard perspectives from many different people through the webinars, and feel like I was a contributing part of the ocTEL community. As stated in today’s webinar, the final one for ocTEL 1.0, “There’s always a first time for something,” and I think the first time for this ocTEL MOOC has been amazing. My sincere gratitude and appreciation is offered for all the effort put forth by the organizers and facilitators, the tutors, and the participants. I can’t wait to see ocTEL 2.0 in 2014, and witness how much TEL changes in this coming year.
