Some other similar tools out there that might better handle large scale discussions might include things like Google Groups (which has a Q&A format now), Google+ Communities, StackExchange clones like Q&A (for Wordpress) or LampCMS or OSQA or Coordino, or reddit-like clones, or RSS aggregators such as used in the OCTEL mooc: http://mashe.hawksey.info/2013/03/mooc-in-a-box-turning-wordpress-into-an-open-course-reader-octel/
