Working in educational videoconferencing for remote teaching or distance learning, as I did for 10 years until recently, I have heard both sides of this argument from students, parents and teachers. On the one hand school age students went "Wow! Cool!" when they saw a classroom fitted out with high quality remote teaching equipment, and telling me that they enjoyed and were motivated by having a 'different type of lesson' which broke up their day and which they looked forward to.
