Thanks for your replies and the offers of info sharing, I was really chuffed to see that my post had been successful in attracting responses! NZ is 11 hours ahead of UK so never expect quick responses from me, I am probably in bed when you’re writing.  Is there anything I might be able to support you with?  I did my PGCert in HE at UCLan in Preston before moving to NZ 5 years ago, I am familiar with PBL and facilitated groups in the UK, I have never thought of using similar through our Electronic Learning Management System at work, it could possibly work.  I was starting to use webct in the UK but I have had a break from on-line learning until i started my current job 12 months ago.
