“participatory learning”
I’m coming to participatory learning from just completing a PhD in Open Source Software Development, studying how to build a sequel to Wikipedia: a crowd sourced resource of learning material (rather than reference material). Very enthusiastic about the idea of collaborative learning. Have become involved in several related Google+ communities: Using Google Apps as a Free LMS (learning management system – 611 members) Online Learning Collective (101 members) Peeragogy in Action (326 members) along with starting Google+ communities for several MOOCs: Academia and the MOOC OCTEL Open Course in Technology Enhanced Learning (and others) and developing a platform, SlideSpeech, for web/mobile eLearning: |
