I am a senior e-Learning consultant, working in the University of Birmingham’s central e-Learning Team within the Centre for Learning and Academic Development (CLAD). CLAD is located in the Watson building on main campus.
Presently, days are full with writing and running training courses for our brand new Virtual Learning Environment Instructure Canvas here at University of Birmingham. Along with meeting staff and course teams to advise on structures and potential of the new VLE. Support sites for staff and students are shown below.
I have an interest in E-Learning in general, and use of lecture capture technology for supporting staff and students. Other areas of interest include feedback issues, online / offline marking and how technology can support this, along with the general use of different technology for learning.
