Nice blog, Paul. Glad to see we have a shared if slightly skeptical interest in badges — let’s agree to suspend disbelief for a couple of weeks. Are you using Credly? I’ve gotten to the stage where I’m not overly keen on signing up for stuff I may never use. I’ll comment on the issue of being overwhelmed by the first week in Moira’s new topic.
Ah, no. I had to look it up. I get a bit ticked off with people giving me credit (unsolicited) for attributes on LinkedIn, although rare, as I feel that the onus is then on me to reciprocate. Credly seems different, but I don’t like appearing so needy in public. But, since my mind was changed about badges, perhaps it might change about Credly too,
I commented on both your blogs.
And I’ve made a blog and posted an intro post too – http://eforenhancing.wordpress.com/2014/05/01/defining/
We deserve our gold stars/badges this week!
