| Bio | Left school at 16 – couldn’t stand education. 3 years in retail and then joined the Police at 19. Spent first half as a happy traffic motorcyclist. Then did a coaching course, got asked about being a trainer… Did the course (13 weeks residential then) came back into force to be met with ‘want to sign up to a cert ed?’ Yes please – what’s a cert ed? Which took me down the HE route a BA(Hons) in curriculum an MEd and PgDip in HRD and after retiring here I am loving education and working in HE. Talk about full circle! |
