Jill’s current role as Learning Technologist at Sunderland University contributes to the development of technology enhanced learning (TEL) for the delivery and management of teaching and learning, by engaging subject matter experts to collaboratively design and develop a rich online learning experience for both blended and fully online modules. Jill has also taken up a IT Health and Safety role within the Faculty.
As Learning Resources Designer at Durham University, Jill worked in partnership with academics to design and deliver effective learning content for online-courses delivered via the virtual learning environment (VLE) or as elements within a blended part-online/part-taught residential course. A key aspect of her role was to project manage the development and the integration of social learning into course design.
