Thanks Karen (podling) for sharing your ocTEL strategies. I too am very time poor at present and am using both the surface and strategic learning styles in order to get something positive out of the time available.
Thank to C.Collis for the first paragraph in particular of your…[Read more]

Hi Kathy, Julie and Phil,

In the webinar Kyriaki pointed out that she and James had been talking about different application levels for their strategies, but the strategies…[Read more]

1. I’m SO glad I’m not the only one who finds the ocTEL site hard to navigate!
2. We are dipping our toes into the accessibility issue at the moment and I was surpised (and pleased) to discover that even things like aging and temporary disabilities like a broken arm are real disabilities.

– use web conferencing to connect with off campus students
– use web conferencing to view assessment items to check progress and comment on works in progress

I have skimmed through several of these postings and found that most of my questions, big and little, have already been covered.
The most notable thing for me is how the importance of the questions changes depending on what I am currently embroiled in. I am an Education Technologist, but most of my time is spent doing help-desk style support for…[Read more] -
