    This is a useful tool and does make you consider what dimensions an activity might impact for example if a directed activity with an assessment outcome that is a practical submission changed to an automonous one, consideration would have to be given as to how/ where the direction came from which could be traditional paper handouts but could change to being technology assisted ie a video or a mobile device app.

    The learning could be achieved individually and be of a more autonomous nature which in turn fits into a Bruner experiential learning theories, but would still require a peer group to achieve a social dimension of teaching/learning. Learning outcomes can still be achieved and evidenced in the form of an assessment but a facilitator will still be required.
