Qualified as a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 1984 and worked in the industry until 1992 when I joined the HE sector teaching to would be Surveyors. This lasted until 2002 when I took up other roles within the University before becoming part of the Events Management team in 2008/9. Been involved in various other initiatives around work-based learning / distance learning initiatives each with differing levels of success or engagement.
