Bio | I’ve been a lecturer since 2006 and have always had an interest in using technology to enhance my teaching. We launched several distance-learning MSc courses in 2009, which has been a very steep learning curve! I’d love to be able to spend more time exploring all the resources out there so I can encourage colleagues to use a few more in their teaching. I now see my career developing into one with much more of a teaching focus and research in this area, rather than the molecular genetics research I started with (although I do still find that fascinating – there’s just not enough hours in the day for everything!) I’m currently on maternity leave with a 4-month old daughter, so trying to fit everything in around her! |
