I am an experienced, award winning teacher and researcher in the social sciences with a passion for innovation and technology. In the past few years I have pioneered the use of free technology resources within the workplace to support critical and reflective practice amongst both colleagues and students. I am an advocate of open source, student friendly technology resources to enhance study and encourage independent learning at all levels. My non-academic interests include writing detective fiction, Irish culture and Liverpool Football Club.
