<p>I think a strategy refers to an overall plan of action. <a href="" rel="nofollow">Oxford dictionary </a>defines strategy as, &#8220;&lt;span class=&#8221;definition&#8221;&gt;A plan of action or policy designed to achieve a long term or overall aim&#8221;.&lt;/span&gt;</p>

<p>I agree with you that learning is both individual and social. And I do agree that variety in the learning environment is important for engagement; monotonous note-taking would dull anyone&#8217;s mind.</p>
