									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You&#8217;re right, I think, about the difficulty of designing a course to meet such a diversity of expectations, but this approach does shift the responsibility for learning firmly towards the student. Heutagogy in action! Personally I&#8217;m looking forward to learning from the perspectives of others. </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>sI was surprised to find that the badges are motivating and it caused me to wonder why. I&#8217;m not a person who does things for the recognition but in past MOOCs I&#8217;ve always felt like a voice in the wilderness &#8211; nobody responding to anything I posted. I guess badges provide some form of recognition of input.</p>
